Eugene Peltola Jr., the late husband of Rep. Mary Peltola of Alaska, was ferrying moose meat and antlers when his plane crashed earlier this month, according to a preliminary report from the National Transportation Safety Board. Peltola Jr. had flown a group of hunters from Holy Cross, Alaska, to St. Mary's, Alaska, two days before the fatal crash, according to the report. He then returned to help haul moose meat back after a successful hunt, the report said. The fatal Sept. 12 crash was Peltola Jr.'s second meat run of the day, with the first going smoothly and without incident,...

Our dear friend and phenomenal world leading freedom fighter doctor Carrie Madej was involved in a plane crash, which almost killed her. Dr. Carrie Madej and her partner Billy – a private plane pilot with 20 years of experience – returned from Florida, where they enjoyed a meeting with likeminded people. In mid air the engine of the plane suddenly stalled, for no apparent reason. In a few seconds the rpm dropped to zero, and they dropped like a rock. No one can figure out why this happened. Airplane engines are meticulously maintained and thoroughly checked, and there was no...

One guest (name unclear) on Steve Bannon's radio, just before it closed at 12:00 EDT), reported a British C-130 that "he had flown in on earlier" broke its wing and crashed flying into and out of Kabul's single runway airport. No other confirmation, no other details. Those three on-line listening and talking did not react, seemed to already know it, so - perhaps "older news" from a previous day or even previous week? GatesofVienna: Terror in the Alps?Given the multiple terror threats issued recently by Al Qaeda and the Islamic State, whenever a major jetliner crashes one immediately suspects that jihad may be involved. And, given the Western political propensity to deny and cover up any planned Islamic terror attack, one suspects that the evidence of jihad will emerge slowly, if ever. The A320 is designed to cruise at 37,000 feet for optimum fuel usage. The fact that it began a controlled descent at full speed without making radio contact with air traffic controllers is peculiar, to say the least. A320 pilots...

Asiana Airlines Inc said the pilot in charge of landing the Boeing 777 that crash-landed at San Francisco's airport on Saturday was training for the long-range plane and that it was his first flight to the airport with the jet. Part of article from St. Pete Times after Sept 11. "Robert C. The National Public Prosecutor's Office is trying to determine whether Russian authorities made some minor repairs to the runway landing systems at the Smolensk airport following the plane crash on the morning of April 10. According to eyewitness accounts, after the crash – in which President Lech Kacyński and 95 others lost their lives – airport personnel were seen changing light bulbs on runway lights close to the airport, suggesting that at the time of the attempted landing the lights were broken. Colonel Zbigniew Rzepa, from the Chief Military Prosecutor's office, told PAP that the office is investigating reports that...

SÃO PAULO, Brazil - Officials struggled Thursday to determine why a jetliner raced down a runway before crashing in a fireball that killed at least 189 people — an accident that set off a fierce debate over whether to close Brazil's busiest airport. Security video released by the air force showed TAM Flight 3054 from Porto Alegre speeding down the tarmac more than four times as fast as other planes landing around the same time. The Airbus-320 skidded off the main runway in a heavy rain, jumped over a highway and slammed into a building Tuesday night, killing all 186...

An airplane enroute to St. Thomas from Fort Lauderdale crashed at 13:15 approximately 33 nautical miles northwest of the main island of Puerto Rico. Fuel starvation most likely caused the accident since seven minutes before dropping off the San Juan CERAP radar, the pilot had reported being low on fuel and that he was going to attempt a landing at the Aguadilla Airport (old Ramey AF - BQN/TJBQ) in the northwest corner of the island. The pilot, identified as James W. Herron, 59, and resident of St. Thomas, was located in the ocean approximately 22 minutes after crashing by a...

BAKU. Dec 24 (Interfax) - Ilham Amirov, deputy general director of Azerbaijani state airline AzAL, said it "cannot be ruled out" that "a terrorist act" caused Friday's crash of an An-140-100 airliner near Baku. Amirov told reporters that the plane had been in use for only about a year. Amirov said the investigation of the crash had produced some preliminary findings, but that investigators have yet to disclose them.

Paris - A confusing series of alarm signals and the lack of an effective common language between its pilots doomed a Cypriot airliner that crashed near Athens last month, killing all 121 people on board, the daily International Herald Tribune said on Wednesday, quoting investigators. An air system knob that had been incorrectly set during maintenance on the ground prevented the Helios Airways Boeing 737 from pressurising properly, but the crew failed to notice the problem during their preflight checks, people connected to the investigation told the newspaper. Then, as the aircraft ascended through 3 000m, a pressurisation alarm -...

Federal investigators have determined that a single-engine delivery plane that crashed into Big Bateau Bay on Oct. 23, 2002, slammed into something 3,000 feet above the Mobile-Tensaw Delta moments earlier - they're just not sure what it was. The highly unusual NTSB account points to unidentified red marks on the severely damaged nose and front belly of the plane as evidence that it hit another object in the air...
